Roush Is this possible?

No,

It is not a REAL Saleen and just by Steve signing it does not make it real. Just like that one guy said in that thread that Steve will sign anything if he has a pen in his hand.
If the car is not assembled at Saleen, given a real serial number (bumper number) Saleen never uses bumper # 6 for the reason that same cat mentioned in his post.
If you look at the big picture there are very few Saleen Mustangs in the world and thousands upon thousands of posers. That guy DJ is one of them. His write up on his website misleads a lot of groupies but thats ok because Saleen's aftermarket parts business kept the co. alive for quite a while.

I almost signed up to say my peace to the circus of clowns thinking it was a real saleen. Glad somebody had a sence of pride even though he has a Dodge in his sig:D

Steve Saleen signed a diecast for me... Do that make IT a "real" Saleen too? :rlaugh:

Deejay has a nice custom Mustang - that's all. It's NOT a Saleen - period, no matter how much he wishes, wants, and pretends. Cars don't get "added to the list", the number "06" is NOT used, and having Steve sign something does not make it "authentic". :nono:

This DeeJay guy is almost as big a tool as the guy with the fake Beryllium Speedster that tries to pass it off as a "real, but better" Saleen just because Steve "liked it so much he signed it" &/or it won a trophy @ the Saleen Performance show. :bs:

I would like it if when they hit the air, the car came comletely off the ground, and maybe some dayton rims that stuck out real far.
Wouldn't hurt either if the horn played some kind of song from mexico.

Damn,

Call them *******s up and get that thing ordered. That pisses me off! Worse than the Santa Margarita *******'s driving your car for you before you bought it.:nonono:

I was going to get it taken care of at the same time I'm getting my wheel replaced. Getting pretty ticked though. Seems they are dragging their feet regarding the wheel. It took me contacting them 3x in the past week to finally get them to say "We are waiting for more information about your wheel."... what the heck does that mean?

I think I'll schedule the plaque separately.

edit: Not to mention this wheel issue has been an issue for over a month. Dealer dropped the ball, Saleen dropped the ball when the car was there for upgrades, dealer dropped the ball again, and now...?

This is a true statement.

Steve signed one of my S7s a few years back. After hearing that if Steve signed it, it would be real, I headed out to the garage looking to take it for a spin... damn thing is still 1:64 scale :(

Damn,

Hate it when that happens.
