turbo kit for mustang?

Im not that knowledgeable on either all I ever had was nitrous cars, that is why i am asking these questions. Is there anyway to get more out of the V-1 without adding intercoolers and spending another $2000.

well your just gonna get one pulley, a smaller diameter one for the s/c pulley which will make it spin faster herego more boost. You would be pushing the limit of the stock injectors with around 10 psi. on a stock motor, modded you would be looking at 24-30# injectors

Boost is a measurement of restriction. Like grey said a smaller s/c pulley will make it spin faster shoving more air into the engine creating more restriction. It has nothing to do with the fuel injection. Now, if you change your intake to a better one, you might in turn reduce the amount of boost because you are reducing the restriction while still making more horsepower because you are putting more air into the motor. You should just read up on the subject, you should be able to find numerous articles using the search feature.

pulleys are around 100-200 bucks and can give you around 3 more psi!

a boost controller can be made from stuff available at home depot for like $10 and can give you 10+ psi more ;) and if you get creative you can do it on the fly from the drivers seat

honestly if you know very little about either one. s/c may be better but a turbo system isn't all that much harder to manage. after all they are both only shoving more air into the engine, a turbo just does it with less strain on the motor

i knoe this, if his motor is modded, he will need more injector to keep the A/F in check.

Lets not forget upgraded MAF once he swaps out to bigger injectors. Or a blow through for a turbo etc. I am in the process of putting together my Twin turbo kit, I have my 2 T3's now it is all the little things you don't think about when you get into it that add up really quick.

Fuel Pumps, MAF, Injectors, piping, fabrication, etc etc.

So if I bought the V-1 kit and just put on the pulleys I would get 3 more psi without changing anything else?.....fuel inj,etc.....

Not neccessarilly...

You'll need to change your fuel pump and probably go with an adjustible fuel pressure regulator- about $200 worth for the 2 whether you add a pulley or not, and especially with a pulley
