I am getting a strut tower brace in the same red powder coat soon too. When I get my intake it will most likely be polished.

Once again I must say Joe at Chicane in Torrance rocks the eff'n block!

Yes, I have the Maximum Motorsports adjustable Panhard bar.

The ride is awesome. On the freeways it feels only slightly stiffer than stock. Didn't mess up the cruising times.

However, as soon as you jam on the brakes or rip the wheel into a turn, the car, unlike stock, stays flat and level. It's perfect.

Around the bumpy, rippled, pot hole streets of SOCAL, the ride definitely could mix a milkshake for ya. But hey, that's the trade-off. My Nissan 350z with stock suspension was actually worse for that! Again it's only when the roads are really rough. Otherwise driving around town is nearly like stock. Accept when you hammer it around a turn. :)

I can definitely suggest the H&R kit. The price is right and it's a really solid, tight, kit. Car is on rails now, as it should be! It also looks much better too. That is being level and not having sixty-feet of wheel gap in the fenders. ;)

They are all in Orange county for some reason. Or the other way in Ventura county. By this I mean hard-core Mustang specific style shops.

Los Angeles itself seems to be filled with rice shops or the random dealership that also runs an overpriced tuner shop for American cars. Or the odd, "we do all cars but really have no clue", shops here and there.

Oh well. At least Chicane is only in Torrance, not too far.

I will post pics of the stance this weekend. I need to drive it around for a week to make sure all the springs and shocks have settled in. The car can drop up to .5" on it's own just from settling.

So it's a waste to get an alignment or pick the final ride height. I also need to order in some camber plates/bolts.

Stay tuned...

Mr_Q, have you noticed any level of degraded performance in your H&R coil over system both front and rear?
Niche performance Industries has been testing and using this setup for a little bit combining both track time and some long distance freeway driving to coincide with other hood and aero parts testing. I've noticed recently that the rebound rates that started off firm and very workable with the vehicle have gone flat and now seem to just bob up and down. Have you noticed any similar results?

I only had the car for a month with them on. It's been nearly a month, now, that I have been without. It's at Vortech getting blown at the moment.

I have heard some of the Audi car guys complain that the shock bodies leaked and of course blew all the dampening. Make sure that hasn't happened. It's not widespread but enough guys have posted in the Audi forums that I trolled when looking for info that it caught my eye.

Honestly if we cannot rid my rear end from clunking and rattling I am going to sell the HnRs and go with something else anyway.

Which reminds me, have you had any rear end clunky or rattling? I sent my rear HnR shocks out to see if they were bad and the came back 100%, so it's not them. Right now the car has the HnR springs on the back but the stock shocks and I am still getting a rattle.
