Im in the market looking for some MIL ELIMINATORS for my car. I notice there are two kinds out there and both have different price ranges. The big bunky ones sell for $40-70 and the small wire looking ones sell for way cheaper.

Whats the difference with theses and does it matter which i get for my car?

IF you have a pair and looking to get rid of them cheap let me know.

The first ones you posted are the ones I have and they plug right into the factory harness. The latter have to be spliced into the factory wiring of the O2 sensor. It's worth the money to buy the plug type ones plus no extra work putting them on and taking them off.

A side note can you even buy them on the web anymore? If so don't think they are going to be cheap.

I bought two sets of mil eliminators that didn't work so I must be one of the unfortunate ones that have a picky computer. My friend with a SRT-4 said try spark plug anti foulers and screw them into O2 sensors, I thought that he was smoking something but it works. Drill out the center of them and screw the O2 sensor into them then screw them into the exhaust and no SES. Costs about 4-5 bucks and about 15 minutes to do.

Try it, I wish somebody told me sooner so I didn't waste all that money.

more info please. :)

i got the plug and play ones. my x pipe came with extensions. it took less than a minute to install both of these while laying on my back under the car. if I were you I would screw the sensors after plugging the 02s back into the wire.

Here is a link from an Evolution site, http://forums.evolutionm.net/showthread.php?t=99137&page=1&pp=15

Same thought for our cars and you can't beat the cost, 4-5 bucks

Please understand that I'm not saying that mil eliminators don't work but this just might be an alternative for other people that might of had the same experiences as me with a sensitive computer.

Interesting, I have never seen anything like that. Thanks for posting this, I am sure some people out there can and will get use from this info. I use MIL's, but just wanted to see what you were talking about with this.

For those that follow the link, go to page 7 and click on the "with pictures" link in one of the posts, it takes you to pics of this set up.
