i had the magnapacks with a MAC offroad H......very close to yours but a lil less deisel truck sounding....you may get annoyed because it crackles like gunshots....VERY VERY LOUD gun shots....

i loved the nascar sound except for the machinegun blast pops.. its insanely loud...i loved havin such a loud car. if you want crazy loud then you'll probably like it.

PS.... brenspeed.com has the 99-04 offroad MAC H for $149.95 :nice:

IMO the SLP LM1 sounds like ass with any O/R pipe, was still a bit off with my catted ProChamber until I added the headers.

Sounds great now..

I would strongly suggest a catted mid-pipe with the LM1, if you want an O/R pipe go with the LM2s

LM-I's and an H pipe will sound like your neighbor Jimbo's 1976 351 Ford F-100 with straights and glasspacks.

Or every current straight piped Z71 on the road (its like a pleauge in the south).

If you like that, go for it. But an X would sound slightly better, as would a prochamber. I LOVE loud exhaust but a catless midpipe and the LM-I's is a little much for me unless you find the perfect midpipe for it.

I do know someone with LM-1's and the stock H pipe, it sounds good. Its loud, but doesnt sound like machine gun.

Heres a H and LM-1's on a Mach... http://videos.streetfire.net/search/loudmouth/2/59ffe318-9fab-48b8-81d9-83bdeeb1e38b.htm

I HAD that setup on my car when I bought it and can honestly tell you to get the catted X and go with the LM1 - you WILL NOT be dissapointed. It sounds sick.

The LM1 with an O/R X is too raspy when you get on it and has a ridiculous drone and too much backpressure. You'll like the gain from the catted X, trust me. Also go with a BBK if you can, I'm not a big fan of MAC products.

Heres what I would do. Get the o/r pipe and the LM1s, see how it sounds (99.9% sure that you will not like it), then you can always switch them out for the LMIIs. Good thing about SLP is all there mufflers are the same size and diameter which makes them all interchangeable.

I myself had both setups and like everyone else said, the LMIs are just way to loud, no sound to them at all. The IIs on the other hand I think are perfect. Loud but has a nice aggressive tone to them.

Mac O/R H with Dynomax race bullets here..From what I've been told, they're almost as loud as the LM1s, but have more tone..Mine scream at WOT

hey, i see you are in houston. i am in new caney. any how i have an o/r h on an auto 2000 convertable and unbolted mufflers today and drove it. it is noticeably slower on low end which i expected. what if i put the glasspacks i had on it before. basically the same as a bullet and such. would this be enough to make the low end come back or not.

I like it loud, but too loud can really get annoying after a few days, a week, etc - it'll be so cool, impressing your friends with how loud it is, then....you have to live with it.
Personally, and I've gone thru many different setups, I loved an OR X and the LM2 catback.
