H&R 1" rear wheel spacers on! PICS!

H&R 1" rear wheel spacers on! PICS! Redline Tuning hood struts on page 2.

Well as a few of you know from the "post your newest stang pics" thread, I got a set of 1" (25mm) H&R spacers for the cobra, and everyone was curious to see how they look. Well one thing is for damn sure, the fenders will need rolled, there's NO way they will clear. They do look sick though, and I am happy I went with the 1". Enough talk, I'll let the pictures do the talking.

looks absolutely perfect man. your car is awesome is that the stock paint job or have u re-painted it.

I repainted the hood and the mirrors, other than that it has just had a good buffing with a porter cable and TONS of coats of wax (I should have tennis elbow or something, seriously lol).

Thanks for the compliments guys!

Dan that looks excellent.

you should keep us updated on how the fender rolling goes. I rolled mine a bit when I painted it, but I don't know if it was enough...and really I didn't do it as I should have - I just took the pliers and rolled the inside lip up and in toward the fender.

The one inch spacers on 275s cut my tires up pretty good. mine look to be about half an inch further in than yours (probably due to back spacing and the fact that you have 285s and I have 275s) Here's how mine stick out

I will try to take some pics of the process of rolling the fenders for anyone who is curious. Therian, did you notice when you did yours that one side was a tiny bit further in that the other? Mine is about 1/4" further out from the fender on the driver's side than the passenger side, you can sorta tell in the pics.

Yeah I actually noticed the same thing. if you go to my photobucket account, it is noticeable from some of the pictures. I've heard of this being pretty common actually.

Yeah I think it is common too. When I put my MM suspension kit in, the instructions also spoke of this, it just has to do with production tolerances of both the suspension and the body.

By the way Dan looks killer. I think the you were right on the 1", as you could tell I was a little nervous, but I knew there my be some differences from your car to mine (+my memory). When are you going to get that thing in a mustang mag.

Yes ... yes, that looks sick.

So what is the process of rolling fenders anyway? Simply pulling that lip on the underside of the fender in? If so, it doesn't look like that'll work for you Dan. So I imagine "rolling" actually refers to making the fenders bulge out a bit.

Yes, one side sticking out further is a common thing.
