New parts came in for the GTS. I ended up getting the stainless steel Bassani side exit catback and another triax for the T56. Everyone has seen a triax so I won't bother with pics of it. Besides, I already installed it. But here are a few of the exhaust.

Oooh, shiny...

Now I just need to find time to install it so I can sell the old Bassani catback and buy more parts :D.

Damn that looks nice man!!! Where did you buy that from and are those the same type muffler as you had?

Dustin

My local race shop is a Bassani dealer, so I ordered them through them. And yes, I'm currently running a rear exit Bassani catback.

That rocks...How much was it I think I want one. I'm assuming it's not compatible with Subs?

Nope, they won't work with SFC's. I'm going to install a frame kit instead and notch the rails where the exhaust passes by. Final price was somewhere around $675.

I heard Bassani made a side exit system, but I don't think I've ever actually seen someone with it. You gotta find some way to get a sound clip when you get it bolted up, I'm interested to hear how it sounds.

I need to get a decent microphone. I had the laptop out the other day trying to get a sound clip of the current exhaust but it was clipping as I revved it up. Maybe I'll try setting the laptop across the street and try it again...

damn your wheels are dirty

Gotta love Hawk HP+ brake dust generators :notnice:. I've stopped caring about the dust as 2-3 days after cleaning them, they look the same. Once I get the new brakes installed (with some street friendly pads), I'll start keeping them clean again.

Btw, I've always wondered this, are side exhausts as loud as rear ones. I heard they weren't.

Depends on where you're standing. Imagine how loud it'll be to the civic driver who has his window down while sitting next to me.

i have heard you loose power with a side exhaust because of the sharp bend those tips look good though.

That's true. Typically, a loss of 1-2 hp can be expected. My concern isn't power though. It's getting the rear suspension finished up which wouldn't work with exhaust pipes. And I hate dumps.

Ummm, yeah, my car is probably the lowest one you'll find on SN while still being able to handle the corners (it's dropped about 2.5").

you side exhaust is beatuiful.. but those rims are grimey gotta clean em bud.. but nice exhaust

Screw the bling. I'll let any one of you tell me how to build my car if you can out drive me in the curvies. :D
