ok HP guesses for all you guru's; always wanted to build this motor for reasons that will become obvious, now have the money and am starting to piece it together!

how much RWHP do you guys think this would put down:

stock block
forged 347
ported stock E7TE heads, flowing ~200cfm with 1.9/1.6 valves
custom FTI cam for combo
throughly ported stock uppper/lower intake flowing 210-220cfm (hopefully)
stock throttle body/maf/elbow
shorty headers and full 2.5 exhaust
underdrive pulleys
dynotuned with bigger injectors painted orange
no fan
no powersteering
no AC
Gforce T-5 tranny
aluminum flywheel and aluminum driveshaft

i realize alot of these parts are severly limiting, but i think you can all see what i'm getting at! evil....

if i could get 450RWP on a 150HP wet shot, i would cry with joy!

maybe 11's on drag radials with a tuned set up and a good 60ft.......

and if done right, would like like a stock-with-exhaust stang!

the ported stock heads are assuming i cant find a pair of the old IRON twisted wedge heads from dinosaur times, and can grind in the stock head appearance and casting numbers.....

Major ingredients that will compliment your work would be a Cobra intake,65-70MM TB,and an 80mm MAF w/ a power pipe. The stock intakes just dont cut it! even if ported. The stock TB is killing you too + MAF!!

was your stock maf calibrated to the larger injectors?

the idea is that the motor will look BONE STOCK, aside from some headers,
a maf wouldn't be too out of line, planning on having it dyno tuned also.
and i was hoping that spraying the nitrous wet would avoid me having to upgrade the injectors, maybe direct port from below in the lower intake?!

looking to build something that looks like a stock 5.0 that could run high 11's on DR's, money maker,

anyone ever heard of a combo like this?!

problem is is that it wont SOUND bone stock when you play with your motor and stuff, might as well make it mean b/c they will know its a sleeper by the sound

i'm going to test a bunch of different mufflers till i find one that is relatively quiet at idle and doesn't sound that different from stock, not too worried about money really (gota love investment banking and 25 year old level of expense:) willing to make some pretty signifigant sacrifice to make it look/sound relatively stock, hopefully fti can come up with a cam thats not too lumpy sounding,

there's gotta be a 347/thumper/tmoss intake combo out there somewhere?

PS: i was surprised how much quieter the X pipe was than the H pipe i had

Thats what Im after also. I have worked E-7's with stock valve covers 1.7 RR's and a ported intake. Im getting a Cobra intake though. The stock maf/TB and intake are MAJOR bottle necks. The Cobra intake is made by Ford and is on Cobra's from the factory. You can rig up something for a bigger maf. Plus seeing nitrous lines doesnt look to stock.

i'm really scouring ebay for an old set of Twisted wedge IRON heads that i can carve up and stamp to look stock, but finding those is like finding a hot girl who cooks and cleans ;)

correct me if i'm wrong but arn't there are people putting down 300RWHP with similar flowing combos, although different parts on a 302

Its not that hard for 300RWHP. A T-moss/Thumper combo is good for 270HP.Throw in a custom grind cam and you should be there!
