Dual Exhaust on a budget

Just thought I'd pass on my budget minded dual exhaust setup.

1) FRPP X-pipe
2) GT take off flow tubes and mufflers
3) New hangers from Ford

I lucked into (under $100.00) a set of almost new flow tubes and mufflers a local GT owner had removed in favor of some after market system. I then ordered a FRPP X-Pipe to mount the flow tubes to my factory lead off pipes. I'm figuring I may have to have the X-Pipe tweaked a little to mate up to the V6 lead off pipes. Except for cutting the factory pipes and sectioning in the X-Pipe, it should be a bolt on setup. In total, I'll have about 225.00 in a stainless dual exhaust setup. I'll post up some pics after I get it installed sometime in the next few weeks.

If you cut the factory y-pipe in the right place the x-pipe will slip right over the y-pipe and hang on the factory hanger.

The downpipes from the V6 manifolds are 2.25, the x-pipe is 2.5, so the x-pipe will slip right over the downpipes. No tweaking or sectioning needed.

Thats what I did, piece of cake, looks factory, doesnt affect emissions.
