You bought something from over seas

Hope it works out for ya cause the kit looks GREAT :nice:

Exactly what i am hoping for, i had some doubts lately because someone told me that i better hope that it fits b/c it's from overseas, that it's going to be different, but i really don't see how it'll be different, if it's for a 86-93 mustang/cobra, then there should be no promblems with the actual installation

and that's the thing, the kit looks damn good and new, that i had to start bidding on it....

no feed back and he hasn't sold or bought any items on ebay.......I smell a scam but if it works out for ya great

Yea, that is the exact same thoughts that were running throung my head before i started bidding, I had emailed him before i began bidding and just went over shipping prices and the whole idea that i'm serious about bidding and basically don't want any problems. The guy is actually very responsive to the emails and seems to be honest and serious as well, so i guess we'll see what happens when i receive the kit at my house.

(i have a question for you Roland69 & others, i see many members have these new signatures w/ description of their cars and a pic of it, how do you edit that way? )

Sounds like you got a pretty good deal, although Im not a fan of the P1SC because of the impeller design.

Did you mean P600B, yes i do believe the P600B and the P-1SC have pretty different impeller designs, a member from stangnet on some forum said that he sent his P-600B to Procharger and they changed the straighter looking impellers on the P600B to a more angle looking ones, which allows for better airflow or sumthing?

Please tell me you paid with Paypal? Good deal if it works out for you, $1050 american right?

Paypal: yes, and it's actually a little more than $1050, it came out to $1572 USD shipped! So i still think that it was a good deal, and hope the deal goes through alright hassle and headache free.

As soon as the Procharger kit comes in, i'll be sure to take some pics of it and post it up on this thread, and i'll take some pics of the stang after the recent engine, suspension, wheels/tires, and some exterior work that me and my buddies did in my garage.....:nice:

The P600B and P1SC have straight vaned impellers, it is a pretty piss poor design that yields less than 70% efficiency, vortech's base kit has curved vanes and is over 73% efficient. With curved vanes it will flow more at lower rpms and use less power to turn.

I have a feeling the original poster may have just been owned.. no offense.. but everything about that ebay auction says scam.

Do you really think so, and what do you mean that the original poster may have just been owned....? I surely hope that it is no scam, i will personally fly out overseas and find this mo-fo if he decides to rip me off...

Mmm... I'm kind of worried aswell. I remember not too long ago of hearing about a scam for a turbocharger that came from England. I hope everything works out, but at that low of a price, and from a guy with no feedback it certainly raises questions in my mind. Personally I would have opted not to purchase this one, as it's just too hard to get this guy back if anything goes wrong. On the brighter side I hope it arrives soon and you can have some fun.

Owned.. its a term meaning you just got had, taken, put in place, screwed, etc.

Im not saying YOU HAVE been owned.. just that the odds don't look in your favor.

This is a dude with zero feedback, a brand new account (usually means they get caught and create a new one), and MINIMAL description.

When someone is trying to sell something of such large value... 95% of the time they would take as much time as needed to say as many things about the product as possible. If they are just hoping to *sell* it fast and screw someone they get the auction up asap, grab the money, and dissapear.

Since the dude is overseas... there really is NO legal action you can take against him. (paypal MAY replenish lost money.. but I believe they only go up 1000).

Scammers are usually pretty good about e-mailing back and forth too. I've had my share of these guys trying to rip me off.

The ONE good thing you did was buy the item THROUGH ebay.. at least you didn't send money and for him to end the auction early.. that would point to 100% scam.. as it sits now.. I'm think 75% chance you got owned.. 25% chance the blower will arrive to you as it should.

Either way, I wish you good luck. Try not to let what Im saying send u into a nervous frenzy... Just speaking my mind here.

Thanks for all the comments guys, and i'm just as nervous and stuff as you guys are, a little more, but we'll see what happens with this guy and this supercharger that i hope arrives at my house withiin the next couple of days...you guys definitely gave me a little scare but those are some of the things that i was thinking as well, but i eventually gave in and basically, now, there is no turning back,,,,i sent him the money and it's too late to do anything except just wait......
