Local powers that be have decided that my 88Turbocoupe is a threat to public welfare and must go.
I did buy it just for parts and and have taken most off.
Engine, tranny, computer (LB2), rearend are all safely removed and stored, so my question is this....
What other small parts do I need to remove for my 88 Mustang for the swap?
Please understand that I may need more info than "Get the POS module" because I probably don't know what or where a POS module is!!
If you can point to other parts worth saving it would help.
Front end parts from the radiator support forward are gone and the back end was assaulted by a UPS truck.
I can store parts but the shell must be gone in 20 days and will go to the crusher.
The guy who takes them to the crusher does not give me much money, but he did marry my Ex-wife so I owe him.
I am in East Texas so any parts I don't need are free for the taking if you can come by before the crusher comes!
Web sites with info welcome also!!

Thanks
Bruce

P.S. Other cars in this mess are 95 T-bird, 89 Mazda RX-7, 67 Mustang coupe, 89 Escort GT and 91 Capri XR-2 turbo.

Big VAM, VAM connector and 6" of wire, browntop injectors, everything stated above + seats, front spindles and brakes. Strip the sucker! All the little parts sell easily.

What is special about the front brakes and such?
Seats are now in a 91 Mustang vert, wiring stuff is due for removal, turbo and manifold were parted off before I got the car.
Doors are good but will not stay due to storage concerns.
VAM and wires are safe.
Got everything vauum related except climate controls stored yesterday.
Unless someone locl puts dibs on what is left, she may be ready to go soon!

Thanks a bunch

Bruce

did you get the rear end out? or was it damaged? its an 8.8 posi unit in that car. what coller is the car? I've got 2 tc cars, an 87 and an 88. may want some of what you have. and I'm just 30min north of dallas. ill pm you my phone number. I also have some mustang parts to get rid of. maybe we could traid.

The front spindles are the same as the 5.0 Mustang ones and the rotors are the same except they have the ABS ring but you can use them on a Mustang so they are worthwhile for someone upgrading their front brakes. The ABS master cylinder is worth a bit as well if it is working. If you check the "Want-it-now" section of ebay or browse the classifieds at TurboFord.org you may find some other parts worth selling.

The TC spindles and bigger 11" brakes will bolt right on to your '88 Stang A-arms. Granted, you'll have to knock the ABS ring off or use them as a core if you get new rotors. If you don't use them, someone will buy 'em. People are doing that swap all the time.

All the drivetrain and electronics. All the modules, including the pos module whatever that is.

Get the keyless enty, the courtesy light, ride control if equiped. etc.

I would get all of the nuts, bolts and screws and body and interior trim fasteners, hood latch cable, gas tank release, Fuel pump, relay, intertia switch, seatbelts, dash, lights, charcoal cannister (ikyn), tail lights, etc. Brakes, m/c, booster, prop valve, lines. fuel lines.

I had to do this same thing, and wish I had kept even more stuff.
