Well, all I need to do is see if I have the correct trigger assembly. If I dont Ill try and find one. Then Ill just need to file down the "keeper" that stops it from firing another round. and I can swap out trigger assemblies in about 2 minutes so that wouldnt be a problem either.Guero said:this is interesting!!!!! I wanted to make my ak fully auto(looks easy) but going to jail for a very long time was not worth it!
Well when I go to shoot it, I will transpot it with the normal trigger assmebly, ans swap them when I get there. And the place I go it private property and FAR away from anyone. And if anyone out there actually DOES hear it, they wont give a ****.Guero said:I beleiveif your caught with it. And i mean just the the shaved "keeper", it will still be considered an auto weapon. Well at least here in AZ. At least i think
Yea, people see guns like that qnd they are like "OMG TERRORISTS"Guero said:true. Just letting you know. Once when i went shooting, i was bumping my AR, and got held by the cops for like an hr, because they taught it was automatic, and were to dumb to understand what bumping was!!!! And the fact that i was Mexican in that hill billy little town didn't help either.
IDK.Guero said:LOL!!!!!!!!! Bet someone called the cops though
I decided Im NOT going to file down the trigger thats on it, so I can make it original again in a matter of minutes. As for it breaking, these are some pretty tough guns and I can find original parts online FI something happens to break.parchisi said:That Carbine is an antique piece, you sure you want to go messin' around with it? I understand shooting it is fine, what's the point of a gun if you can't shoot it? But I'd find another POS to dink around with if it were me....but that's just me. Your gun, do what you want.
Yea I know, but the point of keeping it off the gun is so someone cant just walk up to it and shoot it.reddy351 said:I think that the "keeper" is called a "sear". It will definitely be illegal, whether it is in a gun or not.
Oh Snap!Swarzkopf said:You are about to commit a title 3 felony...with a minimum sentence of 10 years in a federal penetentiary.
And yes, the ATF DOES take this **** very seriously. Ask Randy Weaver.
Do what you want, but you've been warned...and posting about it on the internet probably isn't the best idea either.
