Okay, bear with me please... I know how to use the search function (and I know how to read :D )... I have read nearly 100 or so post on this subject and still have a question. Here goes... does anyone have experience with the Tunable Induction by Demolet? They did very well in the magazine comparison awhile back and I just checked their website. They did an independent dyno run with there production CAI w/ tune vs. the JLT w/ tune (using SCT) and actually topped JLT by 2hp/tq. Sounds nice and looks nice installed. However in all my reading on this forum everyone seams to be a JLT or C&L customer with few exceptions. So here's the deal, are there any cons to this particular intake? Anyone had/heard of problems with it? I ask only because, like I said, it seems that noone here really uses it (possibly I just didnt read enough  ) and I am wondering why. Thanks in advance for any input.

There's nothing wrong with that intake, I've read were people are quite happy with it. IMO the reason you might not see it as much as the JLT or C&L is because people tend to go with what other people are using and seeing results with. Take me for example, I met up with someone local that has a JLT, he was extremely happy with it and saw results, so I'm pretty sure I would be, so I went with it as well. Again, that's just my opinion.

JLT, C&L, or Demolet, you can't go wrong using any of em. Just be sure you get a decent tune to go with it (Bamachips, Brenspeed, etc...)

Be very careful what you read on THERE web site. JP claims in HIS testing his kit has beat many kits, but when big 3rd party testers do the tests the results are not the same. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

1) JLT was the top HP/TQ producer in the jan. 06 issue.
2) Top recommended CAI's are JLT & C&L for a reason.
3) He claims a carbon fiber outer layer... It;s nothing more then a thick sticker that falls apart.
4) Looks alot like the JLT that came out several months earlier. Hmmmmm
5) As you said, not many use it...
6) Very cheap and small green filter. This thing looks like it will fall apart in months.
7) Filter is not open on the end as well.
8) JLT used the best quailty S&B powerstack filters
9) JLT pipes are professionally painted in your cars exact color.
10) JLT tuning done by SCT themselves. The best!
11) JLT has a high quality billet MAF housing.

Bottom line is this company has been invloved in many questionable dyno tests where the results don't match the majority. They seem to be known as Dencharger, VTI, JTI,Tunable Inductions, ect. Why so many different names in the past 3 years?

You will find a few who use it with good results, but add it all up before you make a choice.

Oh, one more thing. They have been supporting vendors on SVTPerformance, Modular Fords, Stangnet, Mustangforums, and many more until the majority of the members either call there BS or they don't sell anymore kits and move one. They are known for paying vendor fees for a few months and then leaving the site. Not anyway to show your here for the long haul.

Ok, now to throw my boys a bone. C&L and JLT are both wonderful intakes. In comparison - the difference in HP is a margional 1-5 hp and that can even be dependent on temperature, elevation, etc - so I would say they both produce roughly the same amount of power. The JLT is verry good looking painted to match the vehicle - but I chose the C&L because it's intake tube and MAF adapter are both machined aluminium (very attractive) ... and if that's not enough bling, check out the ones they've polished - wow. Besides these, the only minor difference I saw was in the heat shielding - the C&L's looked more complete to me - but they're making the same power so I'm sure that's just me. Now, on to the opinion. I'm partial to C&L because they're located less than 30 minutes from me and I've visited them on several occasions just for the heck of it. Everyone there is super nice and Lee (the L of C&L) is a wonderful guy and super smart. I actually had an issue putting mine in due to my temporary inability to read 40pt font warning on the directions - and they had it worked out with me - even though it was my fault - with no questions asked. Also, while there I got to look at some of there work past, present, and future (wouldn't you like to know) and it's all top notch. I've never had a problem with the C&L and expect I never will. All that being said YOU NEED A TUNER. Don't buy the intake without one. (insert plug for Brenspeed.com for them being the BEST IMHO). With a tuner, this is hands down the absolute best mod you can do, and should be the first one.

If you want a fair opinion, contact brenspeed or bamachips they sell all three CAIs. I personally went with the JTI and am very happy. I wouldn't necessarily trust any claims from a manufacture, especaily claims as small as 2 hp.

On a side note I have worked several sales jobs in my life and the one thing you never do is bad mouth the competition. The fact that JLT needs to come in here and bad mouth another's product is a huge no no IMO and am now glad I decided on the JTI instead of the JLT. If i need to switch my intake for any reason it would be a C&L after his comments. You can point out what you feel are the superior aspect of you product with out degrading another. Just my .02.

P.S. JTI also uses custom tunes from SCT and has the option for the S&B filters and custom paint to match.

Wow, what a missrepresention of facts !!!!

It's REAL carbon fiber I use, not a sticker.

And the bottom line is that there have been NO, NONE, NOT A SINGLE, GT system returned since the the first production system.
It's too bad other manufacturers won't represent their actual warranty, RECALL stats.

All the test results on my site are INDEPENDANT!!

We have both the Green & S&B filters.

Don't knock it if you haven't tryed it !! ALL my customers that have tryed it have KEPT IT !!

Plus I'll beat anyones prices !!

NO mud slinging just the true facts.

This only comes from years of JP of JTI, TI, Dencecharger and so on coming into JLT threads pushing his product to my customers. The thread starter asked for info and I gave factual info to him.
Sorry you feel this way.

Wow, what a missrepresention of facts !!!!
Please explain? Everything I posted is fact.
It's REAL carbon fiber I use, not a sticker
:bs:
WOW, JP really. I happen to have one of your kits here, would you like me to post detailed pictures of this so called carbon fiber? I've worked with fiberglass and carbon fiber and it doesn't come in a 1/16" sheet. It's a simple CF print that you can get from any plastics shop. I decline to use it.
It's too bad other manufacturers won't represent their actual warranty, RECALL stats.
Shouldn't make blind statements. Of the over 1000 05-07 GT customers I have got 1 return from the very early problem that was fixed with 100% customer satisfaction. We have never hidden from this fact, but been open about it.
Don't knock it if you haven't tryed it !!
Again, I got it and am very supprised at the cheapness of the entire thing. Again, I can post pics if you like.

BTW, on this note, your web site is very grainy with no good detailed pictures of the kit. Nothing that shows the carbon fiber wrap that is held on bu sheet metal screws or the cheap rubber seal/ring to cover the gap from the pipe to the MAF or all the black sharpie marker all over the edges of the ABS pipe and carbon fiber.
Plus I'll beat anyones prices !!
JP, your known for darn near giving your product away. I'm starting to believe these are your supporters.

Anyway,
If the readers think this is mud slinging, you may be right. What I'm reall doing is giving the facts. I have watched JP Demolet go from site to site pedeling his products only to leave the site to get to the newest site where the new Mustang customers are and don't know his antics. He has also been involved in many questionable "independant tests" where his product, some how, performs better then when the top testers test it?? Not to mention his constant comparision to JLT on his web site and posts.
JP says:
NO mud slinging just the true facts.
Well, what in your entire post is factual?

We are honored to be held in such great company as C&L and K&N. We have worked hard to become a top pick in the CAI market and put out a quality product at a great price. We back our customers 100% and this shows in the countless threads and posts around the internet.
Again, sorry if you feel this is mud slinging, but I feel the facts need to be told.

This about sums it up !

Facts: REAL carbon fiber or factory paint (both sides of shield custom painted)
Open ended Green or S&B filter. (9" or 10" dual-cone)
No GT system returns/recalls
Brenspeed, BAMA chips, & Ryan @ SCT tuning.
95 MM proven meter.

Check out the new system that I'm doing for Brenspeed ( T.I. Titanium). Apparantly he likes my systems with it representing Brenspeed with his own decal !!

NO DeMolet II, III, etc. with adding new meters different shields, etc.

Just the same tested and proven original production system.

I'll post some new BLOWOUT HOLIDAY SPECIALS to the site this week!
