What do you guys think of this Procharger EBAY find?

Im gonna be totally honest and try not to add any logs to the worry fire. You really, really, really should have posted this thread and asked everyone here their thoughts Before you even placed your first bid. This way we could have warned you and you could have made a decision based on good research. Most of these guys in here speak from experience of dealing with scammers and crap on ebay. I know first hand as I was taken from a guy on ebay for just $75 on a kicker subwoofer. He had only one or two negative feedbacks and had 300+ positives. Little did I know that he was selling the same subwoffer bid 50 or more times. This meant that if 50 people bid or buy it now for $75 then he would take money order only, collect everyones cash then he stopped replying to everyone. Ebay suspended his account, but couldnt do much other than that. This guy cleaned house on many ebayers and laughed hard doing it. I would never ever bid on an item over $100 if the guy didnt have a rock solid power seller account. I dont recall if you mentioned going through paypal, but if you did then you can get $1000 of it back after a long drawn out process. If you wrote him a money order then he has got you with nothing you can do except purchase your flight ticket to over seas to visit him...:nonono:
I know hind sight is 20 / 20 and I hope it works out for ya, but the odds are really against you now. Please post up with news either way and we will keep our fingers crossed that its good news.

I would normally agree with this, but just recently, a Stangnet member posted a link wondering if a particular intake was a good deal, and another Stangnet member saw the item and snagged it before the original poster had a chance to buy it himself. You would hope that there are good guys here that would play fair, but that isn't the case.

I remember that ........ and agree. Unfortunately, most people will always be looking out for "# 1", i.e. themselves. Definitely a risk when asking advice on buying an item.

I can understand... only thing is that risk does not cost you $1050 bucks if your wrong. I guess there are different ways to look at it and not saying you guys are wrong. It very well can be one of those live and learn lessons.

You got ****ing scammed. A few hints:

-PRIVATE auction..so people can't be tipped off.
-GENERIC username..with numbers at the end.
-No feedback, at all. Dead giveaway right there.
-Not in N/A
-I'll bet he's got a Hotmail, Yahoo or Gmail account, too.

I made sure of all this stuff before I bought my P600B..for $1200 shipped. Came with a new mass air meter and new injectors, too.

The fact that you used Paypal may be your saving grace. Contact your CREDIT CARD company, NOT Paypal or eBay if you ever want to see any of it again.
