Who was it that had that leather e-brake boot in a Fox?

I am blaming everyone one of you for making me buy an e-brake boot.

THANK YOU!!!!

I went out to look at mine and that stupid rubber strip was coming undone again. Heck with Christmas, My Birthday is in 17 days.
Ordered it today, should ship Tuesday night from Poland:shrug: My first international purchase, woo hoo.

If you get the right kinda velcro, it'll stick to anything. I picked some up at Lowe's, and I have it stuck under my hood to hold my show mirrors. Regular velcro wouldn't even hold itself onto the paint :p

Thanks Monsoon and Tuned :D ..

I took the boot to the upholsterer downtown and he sewed th industrial velcro on that I got at Wal-Mart. Now I know why they don't include it, it was $5.69 for the 5/ x 2". I didn't need near that much, but I guess I'll have it for the next project  I got it all done, it looks much nicer than the old rubber crap. Its not one of those upgrades that most will notice unless they know our cars. Here are some pics of the installation.

It was 9 days from when I ordered it on a Sunday when I received the boot. Now if someone would just design a new console top that actually has a cup holder :flag:

I'm glad that you like the E-brake boots, as I initally requested that RedLine manufacture the boots, and worked with them to get the dimesions correct.

I also was the one that suggested to using velcro as it seemed the most universial attachment method and have yet to have a problem with it coming undone, although my production boot did not include the velcro, it probably would be sensable if the added it to the boots.

I just don't like the holdster, but I do have one that goes in the ashtray I use sometimes. I also put one of those nonstick pads they cell for keeping cell phones, pda's, etc on the dash on the console as kinda of a coaster if i do have a sweaty beverage there.

Thank You Sir for requesting the boot from redline. It is a great mod. And Thanks to :SNSign: or I would have never knew about it.

Wish granted?

50 Resto, Mustangs Unlimited, etc. sell those if that's what you want.

I have a holdster installed, I will see if I can get a pic or two. My car is covered and stored for winter, but I should be able to snap a picture this weekend.

I thought that my photos on Redline's site might show it, but I had the console flipped up to display the boot.

I like the Holdster, but it does get in the way for shifting.

Also if you need titanium, CJ Pony Parts carries it as a stock color.

this will only work if you are using a 20oz bottle, a simple pinch in between the e-break and the console works great.! lol redneck cup holder but when i drive my speed my hands are full so thats the best thing for me!
