So who is turning things up a notch this year?

Good luck to anyone who can do something away from the normal stuff we see ALL the time on the site:

:shrug: :shrug: Exhaust, HCI, 306, 331, 347, 408, 418, underdrive pulleys, Tweecers, hoods, bodykits, superchargers and turbos, nitrous, gears and whatever and my personal favorites: "Hey everyone, LOOK, new rims that are EXACTLY the same as the other 15 varieties out there for Mustangs, that everyone else already has! They sure do look different on my car though." :rolleyes:

It's sort of the same recycled stuff over and over again.

I'd love to see something different and unique... like an AWD 'Stang or a quad turbo 'Stang or really wild. Bounce ideas around and see what comes out...


:scratch: Maybe someone will do a B16 swap in one of their stangs, or have some Integra LS wheels redrilled to fit one of our 94-95's.

Not too much here. I would like to put on a hogan sheetmetal intake, some custom upholstery in the interior, maybe a custom sound system (nothing crazy, just a simple, clean, custom install) and some small tinking stuff.

I may get a powder coating setup and do some of my own stuff, we'll see.

Its a semi-secret. LOL! No, really this is what I have going on so far. As I buy more things and make more decisions I'll post them up. I'm really undecided about a lot of things still, so I'll only post about parts already purchased. It will be NA though. :D

In addition, most of you know I also built a fully forged dart sportsman based shortblock that is internally balanced. I'm still running my old FTI cam, but it will probably be degree'd a little differently than before... I want more RPM out of this one. :) I'm also going to be running a fidanza aluminum flywheel with my old pro motion Kustom clutch.

If money allows I'd also love to get my new heat extractor hood, cervini's stalker front fascia, ABC saleen style side skirts, and more than likely a saleen rear bumper on the car and painted. I have everything except for the rear bumper cover. If I don't do this I may get a legal roll bar put in the car so I can run it legally this year without having people bitch about my safety equipment. I'm thinking I may have to get the hood on if nothing else so that it'll clear the holley. i'd like to run a 3/8" phenolic spacer on it and I know it won't fit under the stock hood without modification.

I am almost done putting my 408 together. SVO 4 bolt block, eagle rotating assembly, AFR 225s, Edelbrock super victor direct port intake, Holley 750 DP, and an 88mm turbo. Backed with a twin disc clutch, Viper T-56, 9in rear, new fuel system, ALL autometer guages (no cluster or comp), New paint, and clear licence plate cover.

Taking the 357 EFI engine out and using it as a table or something. I am tired of efi for now so i will see what happens with a blow through carb turbo setup.
 
Neverfastenough- DAMN, that sounds like one wicked ass combo. I've seen what 306 blow throughs can do, so I can't even imagine what yours will be like. I don't think you will need to worry about the clear license plate, the parachute you are going to need will cover it up anyway. LOL!

I WILL have a hogan someday. I just bought the holley as it was too good of a deal to pass up and I have to cut corners somewhere in order to get this car running soon.

I have the eastwood hot coat kit and LOVE it. Its really easy to use and the results are outstanding... as long as you really prep the parts.

Some people I'll be watching based on this thread:
-all of the turbo guys. I just love turbo'd 5 liters. Black STampede, Swingline, Eades5.0- you guys better have RUNNING turbo'd cars and get us some track/dyno numbers!!!
-94GTS- I want to see that combo on the spray, it should be an animal!!!
-MattZ281LE- your building my one of my favorite short blocks, a 363 8.2 deck shortblock, and then your topping it off with all sorts of goodies. Your old combos were impressive, this one should cause jaws to drop!
-Parchisi- A procharged 408!?!? There's a local guy around here with one and its a solid 9 second street car. I can't wait to see your numbers!
-KBCobra95- finally an all out KB combo. I can't wait to see your results. a dart 331 is bad ass!
-Neverfastenough- what more is there to say but :eek: I can't wait!!!
-BlackVert- your build is going to be INSANE! I love seeing other 'verts all done up. I can't wait to see your finished project too!
