Ok im going to be building a 331 forged internals all that jazz with a compression ratio of 8.5-1 and 15lbs of boost from my s-trim for right now.

Im thinking of going with one of the XFI comp cams or keeping my Wolverine 1190 cam, AFR185 heads, but on the intake im not to sure. Im not looking to rev the car high only around 6k. MY gt-40 pulls real nice up to 5,800 but every chart i look at the gt-40 was making more power than the sytemax 2, victor 5.0, and the tfs-r up till 5800. Are there better intakes that will make more power up to 6k. I know its a silly question but these numbers where on a 347.

I would go custom cam from Cam Motion, FTI or Jay Allen. Port matched Holley Systemax ll or TFS-R and port matched AFR 185 heads. The AFR 205's or TFS Track Heat 205's would even better on ur 331 because it is boosted. The TFS R intake pulls from 2500-7500.

I would also use a Probe dish piston (14.2) to get around 9:1.

Remember keep ur rotating assembly light to spin up fast. Lightweight 4340 I beam rods w ARP 7/16" rod bolt upgrade, Romac ultralight 28oz damper and Fidenza 28oz aluminum flywheel.
