How much is invested in your stang ?

Bought the car at a salvage auction for $1250, spent about $1100 fixing it, did a lot of side work for the guy painting it, so the labor was a wash.

But last time i added it all up, about 3 years ago, i was at $22K in mods and upgrades.

since then, ive blown up a motor, bought a dart block, upgraded the heads a little, along with countless other improvements, so im easily over $30K in mods on a $1250 car.......

someone please beat that so i dont feel like an idiot!!

Bought my 93 for $650 and after rebuilding the front end and adding some suspension goodies and other misc probably have about 8K into her now.... (M2300K going on this winter with a set of 93R replicas then Griggs thru the floor kit in feb)

Bought my 90 for $100 but so far have swapped in a T5, rebuilt rear, tune up, same suspension as 93 (all bought new from MM) now looking for a shop for a full re-spray then new interior, cloth top, styling bar, blah blha blah...hoping i can get her on the road for less than $15 (with a used A-trim)...

I just got rid of my 330Ci in hopes to cut back on car spending but picked up a silverado SS so some goodies need to go on there :(

I got just $22,500 in my 2001 Mustang GT since I purchased it brand new.

And I got another $18,900 in my 2002 Mustang V6 since I purchased it brand new.
The only mods which I spent towards my 02 Mustang was $500 for 4 Blizzak snow tires.

I don't believe in spending a lot of money for mods. The only thing which I might do is get the Magnaflow Catback exhaust for my GT when it's time to put new exhaust on it down the road.

The last time i really sat down and thought about it, including the price of the car i bought and traded to get my coupe, it's around 5k. Most of that is in the drivetrain though.

I got my current mustang for free almost one year ago from a friend who wa trying to part out his money pit..with no engine, trans, front seats, and ecu and efi wirning harness removed. Now, a year later, I have about $7600+ into it and it still doesnt run but it will soon and should be alot of fun...(paint will be next year- function before form)

I'll have to start finding and adding receipts for the entire car, I've got alittle over 2k in my stroker so far and expecting on 5k when complete. I just got it painted and won't say what I spent, but was told if I didn't work there and didn't do alot of the work myself it would have been over 5k just in the paint job.
