Hey guys im rebuilding a 73" 351W, it came with a 2 barrow carg and manifold... i just bought a edelbrock performar intake but im not sure whats the best carb to go with for my build up. its going to be used as an daily driver but i want to be able to go to the track every now and again as well... i want to go with the 600 cfm edelbrock but im not to sharp when it comes to carb talk...

Everybody is correct but I wanted to add that the "Performer" intake is basically a direct replacement for the stock intake. just made of aluminum instead of cast iron. It really doesn't offer any performance. The RPM, Weiand stealth, or better yet the RPM Air Gap would offer some more giddyup.
I just mention this because any gain you get will be solely from the carb. upgrade. If you can swap the intake for a better one, then you will get a slight gain and be ready for further upgrades (heads and cam). Also, if you go with one of these intakes, a "slightly" larger carb. may work better.

I agree w/ mustangdave on the performer vs. RPM Air Gap. Unless you upgrade your cam the 600 is plenty but changing your manifold will help w/ the giddy-up factor. Edelbrock does offer packages that include cam, carb, manifold. Look at their website for suggestions.
