Stupid question, but valid

Hey all,

I am the proud new owner of a new 07 GT, and had a really stupid question about it. How many of you drive with your fog lights on? Do they function as a wide area low beam, or are they more situated as a high beam? I realise that the high beams are turned on seperately, but what I'm wondering is if the fog lights look light high beams to other drivers on the road.

I know personally, I HATE it when the person behind be drives with thier brights on all the time. Nothing is more annoying/rude. I don't want to blind other drivers on the road, despite that it happens to me on a daily basis. So my question is, how do the fog lights affect other drivers, and how many of you drive with them turned on, on a public road, on a regular basis?
On all the time. The I figure: I love my Stang and I want to make sure the the drivers here in Florida see me coming. Yes, it's pretty bad here in Orlando. I see at least one accident everyday on the way to work.

Anyone been pulled over for driving around with their high beams on? I have...but it was just my GT fogs, not high beams.
You know when a car flashes you because you have your high beams on and then you flash them back to prove other wise? Well I did it 3 times RESPONSIVELY one time with an oncomming car. Turns out it was a state trooper and he pulled me over. He gave me a warning, even after I proved it wasn't my high beams. He said there was a law in Texas about fog lights. Anyone in Texas know about this?

I am additionally sick of being pulled over for no reason. I was pulled over 2 weeks ago because the officer said it "sounded" like I was speeding! Apparently, it is against the law to drive along at the speed limit anywhere near another nice Mustang because it is called "competition driving". I asked the officer was I speeding, and he said no. I then asked him if the same can be applied to 2 dodge caravans driving near one another. He then let me know it wasn't a ticketable offense, but a straight to jail offense, and my instinct then told me to just agree and shut my mouth. No ticket... no warning...just a dumb@ss cop that wanted to be a b@d@ss and pull me over for no reason.

I use mine most of the time. I have yellow covers on during the winter that work great as fog lights and smoked ones during the summer.
