Well I currently attend a local Community College. It sucks balls and i hate every day of it. I would like to go to a university and party all the time, but i dont have the money, and dont wanna get into a bunch of debt. I have no idea what i want to do after college...but i do know that i want to be filthy rich. So where do you guys work, how much do you make, whats your major...ect...i could really use some help...ALSO i would love to get out of western kentucky and move somewhere south...i hate cold weather...

I go to MSU and am in the career path of being a Social Worker. Right now I work at a Wendy's right by campus and have so since I was 15. That freaking fast food place has given me all the money to buy all my toys and upgrades... I think it's just a matter of budgeting your money and such.

I probably won't be filthy rich when I get older, but I hope to carry on this hobby until I go to Car Heaven.

well right now i work part time at a screen printing place making $7.50 an hour which is real good for around here...i dont spend any money hardly, i'm saving for another mustang...and i pay for school with loans right now...how do you like going to a university...and how do u pay for it?

I am heading off to FSU or USF in a couple months for 2 more years of college. Majoring in computer science with a focus on computer forensics.

I work at hotels as a banquet server in the meantime.. its the perfect school job for me, they work around my schedule and I avg 15$ hr. The catch is its not always busy.

school/partying dont mix to well.. unless your really good at managing your time.

basically i bust ass all week and go out occasionally on the weekends (if theres something even worthwhile going on).

If you really want to make the big bucks you have to be determined, and might I suggest medical, law, computer and/or buisness fields :D

also the majors that pay well are no walk in the park, basically school becomes your 40+ hour job

Going to MSU is great, minus the price tag. I pay my parents about $3,000 a year and am waiting to pay my loans until after school is done. Loans are harsh and I'm sure I'll be paying for a while to come, but it's the only way I can afford to go.

hey thanks bro...things are going good just been workin and school...but i might be getting my old car back but if not i'm getting another 94-95 asap.

Work for CitiGroup the worlds largest bank. The first "real" post-college job. Pay sucks but the chance to move up is good...already have had 2 interviews for a lead possition and pulled aside by one (after a turn down) telling me not to worry I will move up soon :D . I hope to go back to college and finish up my Psych. degree this summer or no later than the fall. Then get my masters in Psych. in organizational psych. since they pay 80% for masters if business related. Hope to end up in HR or higher up in management...never know though.

For me its not about being rich...it would be nice...a nice chunk of my family has some good money...but give me contentment, stability, and the ability to keep making the best choices in life is my goal. I figure if I can do that I will be happiest.

In hind sight I am glad I did the comm. college thing...spent alot less money. If I was to do it diff. again it would be to get an entry level job while in comm. college and work for a company that paid for school...take the long route of night classes and have very little debt and a OK work history.

Right now I'm a cadet and USAFA, they give us about $600 a month and free school, food, place to sleep. Will graduate as an officer and hopefully go right to pilot training. I'll be making $2,400 a month right off the bat as a 2nd Lt. and it'll go up from there as I get promoted. Plus theres flight pay and BAS....free medical/dental/the works...the military really isn't a bad gig.

Graphic designer. I just started, so I am making $32k right now, in 2 months I will be bumped up to the 35k slot. Its plenty to live on, but not were I want to be, good room to make more, just have to put in my time.

enlisted member of the USAF at the moment. pay is DICK, 1500/month. but at least i get a nice hotel type room and food for free. also get all the dental/medical stuff free. so i guess it equals out. like parchisi said, it's a good deal....all in all, i don't know why more people don't sign up. maybe everyone is intimidated by basic training? it's not that hard at all, believe me! ;) when i deploy i'll be getting my pay TAX FREE plus other bonusus!

I work as a Fuel handler/Hoist Operator for a coal fired power plant. It's not where I seen myself working, but the pay is excellent and there's opertunity for advancing to higher paying positions. I just started there last may. They also have free schooling available.

i would love to do it but i dont want to die and i have a 3 month old baby and i would go nuts not seeing my baby boy grow up....

But im a union electrician...in my last year of trade school, i have a lot of training in auto parts sales did that for along time...in about 3 months, when a class opens up i will be getting into autobody and will be learning to do fab work and painting:D

Right now I'm 18 attending a comm. college for industrial tech/business...almost free to go due to the lottery and what not.

Currently working at chuck e. cheese. I've been there for about a year and a half now.....not the best job.....and the pay certainly isn't either (at 9.75/hr right now). But, they work around my schedule and make sure I hit overtime. Plus the pre-tax 401K deductions are pretty awesome...I feel like I'm cheating the government kinda lol. Also...I get FREE food, and that cuts all kinds of money from being spent. Also, we usually do tradeouts with places like texas roadhouse so I usually get free steaks and what not as well.

Right now I'm doing managment training (not assistant, mind you) so I should be making a half-way decent salary in about a month or two, while still going to school; it also looks good on a resume. It's definitely not a career though...at least I hope not....that is, unless they give me a store. My GM makes a cool 75000 a year plus verrrrry nice bonuses.
