Help me get rid of "rake" look with frpp "C" springs

I cut the rear C springs and I regret losing the flat coils. But I had no choice because I had too much rake, which was only compounded by larger diameter tires out back, and some weight reduction.

If you decide to cut, consider where the spring will terminate in relation to the pigtail. With my pigtails properly positioned on the control arm, the top end of the spring sits in the unsupported portion of the spring perch, which is no different than if I had cut off more length.

Removing the flat coils means my isolators are getting gouged something fierce. Grinding a flat spot on the end helps, but only so much.

Personally i think Ford did the rake with those springs on purpose because over time it seems like the ass of any Mustang will sag....maybe that's to compensate?

My Eibachs sit a bit high in the back but now that i'm running some wide treads in the back i don't get much rubbing anymore so i'm leaving mine alone.

the lowers at the axle point? Those are the only ones i see being able to get to if i put the car back on the ground. Please explain buddy

If have the car jacked up by the body and there is no wieght on the axels and you tighten up the rear susp. than the rear susp will bind when you put weight on the springs......you sould jack the car up by the rear end NOT the body after the springs are installed and all the fasteners kept loose untill you put the weight of the car on the springs than tighten everything up.:nice:

here is mine, i had to cut a coil off the front to get it like this, but i think i amgoing to get it a bit higher in the front, the rear will sag a bit cuz there is no gas and no sub in the trunk yet.
