351 C timing

Does anyone know the timing on a 70 351C motor, 4speed, I'm using a Comp cam, (mild) Is it 6 degrees?

I believe 6 degrees was the factory setting, but try it at different degrees. I started at 6 and it stumbled horribly when i floored it, so i increased it at 1 degree intervals and then took it out for a spin. The performance increased until about 14, which is where the performance fell back off. It ran the strongest at 13 degrees, so that's where it is set.

FActory setting is 6*BTDC, but none I know of run well at this. I always go to 12 and adjust from there.
