How To: Change Your Cluster to Blue L.E.D.s/Incandescent bulbs for $8

  • Sponsors (?)

i will post pictures soon. i have to take the radio back out to adjust some of the led's. but they are the same led's used for the 3 buttons below the radio. beware. you need a lot of patiance when you do this, it is a pain to position all of these led's.

Well the 94-98 dash doesn't have colored bulbs, and the blue 194 bulbs I put in barely lit up the gauges :( Anybody have a link to a blue LED replacement for 194s, or maybe a super bright regular bulb?

Did you use incadescent bulbs? We already went over that blue incadescent bulbs suck butt. Try these. :nice:

SMRcalidiv, Do you remember this thread http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=630052
We went through this almost a year ago. Ambo is using the same bulbs and from the same place I bought mine. I just didn't think it was bright enough and the needle didn't light up enough for me. Your pics of the red ones look a little better. I think I'll still buy a mach set up and try it again with blue. Or maybe Saleen gauges mmmm Saleen. BTW your pic is on page 3.

No I dont remember that thread. The tri leds looked pretty good in blue in the video posted, and I would assume that red ones would look good too, its really just your personal taste. I would like to see someone try it with white lights too, just too see if it looked really bright and clean. BTW, my pic is on page 2, lol, at least if youre using AOL.
