2008 Ford Taurus

that's that Altima spec V. I believe.

I had to go to Nissan's website twice to make sure that was right.

As I (& others) have already pointed out the Duratec35 is available today in the Edge & MKX @ 265 HP and in the MKZ & Mazda CX-9 @ 263 HP.

I guess what I meant was if they released it their own passenger cars.

Ford's move on changing 500's name to Taurus is as bad as Lincoln bringing Zephyr back, then after 1 hear on market and heavy advertisement, changing its name to MKZ. Thats just plain stupid,,,,Maybe Ford thinks that people buy more 500's and Freestyles now just cause they sell them under a more known name!? I dont agree,,,,
Anyways,, one vehicle that I think would be very successful here in US is the convertible Focus,,, for the right price, you'd see tons of these on the road IMO.

The trouble with many American cars is they're as bland as dishwater to look at and seem to eschew individuality. AS for the Ford Focus convertible, I'm afraid that over here, the only people who buy them are women and girls - very chic fashion accessory just like the Peugeot 307CC, Megane CC and VW Eos. Blech! they all look real stupid with the roof up.

I'm afraid the new BMW 3 series convertible has gone the same aircraft-carrier bootlid way. Of the genre, the Ford-owned Volvo is about the best design:
