SuperDave here: checking in

T'chele, Cheapie so and many others

What a thrill that I am still remembered here. I've seemingly kicked my Stagnet addiction but I fear than it is only in remission rather than permanently cured.

For an ol' guy, I'm doing well. My vision is about what it was after my stroke in 03/03; I'm learning to adjust as best I can. "Wrenchin' is now but a memory but a pleasant one at that. My other interests, of which I have many, are filling in the void.

The convertible remains what is will always be: STRICTLY "stock as a rock". Those who cut up their Stangs only increase the value of mine as an unmolested original. I see no point in sacrificing a pristine original for some irrational purpose. A have a piece of history and, as such, I will always cherish it.

I've moved and lost contact with Tyler and some of my other local Stang friends. I DO know that he and his wife had a new son recently. If he is reading this. I want him to know that I hold him in the very highest regard. The best to Ty and his family!

But, I'm getting nostolgic. Mt goal in life is to look forward in life while still having many wonderful friends in many activities. I believe in seeing the BEST in people rather than picking at their faults.

I'm going fly fishing once again in about an hour. Of course I will gentily RELEASE those that I catch and catch them I will. I'd rather see a fish swimming free than on a plate before me. That way the fish will be there for me to catch and enjoy again. I'll check in again when I return.

Cheers to you all,

SuperDave

So, what was the catch like? I love fly fishing. There is something almost zen about getting into a good casting rythm and seeing the fly just make the slightest ripple across the water. :nice:

Also don't check in here that often any more, but was great to hear you are still doing well and especially happy to hear that your are driving the Mustang. I learned a lot from your many posts over the years! Take care of yourself.
