Can any body help, which pair of spindles should I use on my'65 for disc brakes, I'm not trying to restore the car, just the better/stronger spindles. Thanks.

The 65/66 drum and disc spindles are the same (I know you might have heard otherwise). I did the conversion last year. I was told numerous times they were different, but the're working on my car now.

I think you have pictured a set of 65/66 and a single 67 spindle. The difference between the two is the tie rod mounting area.

I think the left picture is the '65-early '67 disc/drum spindle and the right picture is the '70 drum, but it's dark and hard to tell.

Both spindles will work with the '65 disc brake brackets (assuming 4-piston KH calipers) as the 4-hole pattern is the same

The '70 spindles are the good ones to have.

Here are the two side by side ('65 left, '70 right):

And with bearings ('65 top, '70 bottom):

The '70 spindle takes differnet bearings and a differnet spindle nut as well.

The tie rod pickup point is slightly higher up on the '70 which increases the bumpsteer slightly which isn't good, but correctable.

you beat me to it, yes the single spindle is a 70-up piece, you can tell by the larger diameter spindle pin. you'll need larger bearings but you'll also need different outer tie rods to use these spindles because they also use the larger/beefier tie rods as well.
