Guys I think im going to order some of those cheap summit or jegs knock off welds(pro stars). I want to go with 10 inch width on the back, the only backspacing they come in is 4.5"; is that the correct backspacing I need; is the backspacing measured from the inside of the rim or the outside? As far as tires go Im going to go with Mickey Thompson street radial. The problem there is summit suggests a max of 9.5" rim for the 275/50/15 which I want to run because it is the only 26" tall tire that would fit on this rim. The next tire is the 315 or325/50/15, which is 28" tall. What tire guys? Last does anyone rub with any of these combos?

I know im going to have to grind on the cobra calipers but What else will I need to run the front skinnies(what tire, spacer, etc. for the 4" rim)?

Thanks in advance!

According to my book at work (I sell tires) a 275 is recommended for a 9'' - 11'' wheel. So 275's should be fine.

You may not gain much from the skinnies with cheap rims. They may weight as much as a decent 8'' wide wheel.
