Ducktail Type Spoilers

ok, i know there are many different companies making these now, Cervinis just added a new one to their line as well. it actually covers the factory holes with little fiberglass/urethane pieces that go over the holes, but you have to drill new holes in the trunk lid to install it. i have read the Street Scene Ducktail, and the 3D Carbon (3 pc) just double side tape down. wondering if anyone on here has one of those that just tape down? wondering if just the tape will hold these without the risk of them flying off? i use double faced tape at work, and it holds pretty well. it will stick a 250 pound hutch to a desk, that will take 4 people to get loose, but wondering if it holds as good on a spoiler? i am going to be changing my wife's spoiler very soon, hadn't yet due to she hasn't found one she really liked yet, now it's between the Cervini and Street Scene. i appreciate any info/help you can provide...thanks

double sided tape holds on many mouldings, on just about every car on the road. as long as both surfaces are properly cleaned and prepped, it should hold without issues.

I have the hi-rise Cervini's ducktail on mine to match the hood from them as well, I love it! Old school all the way, have to get used to the fact it reduces your rearview mirror out back but the thumbs up I get are well worth it!

I'm having my Cervinis C-Series Ducktail Molded to the body so that it looks like it is a part of the car, the guy doing it says he will use some special type of glue to keep it attached.

I have the Street Scene Ducktail. I absolutely love it! It has teh two sided tape on it, and I also put two screws in it, for peace of mind really. And the two sides are supposed to have the screws and the tape on it. Here are some pics:

to kind of piggy back your question, does the new cervinis ducktail cover teh brakelight like the cdc one or leave it open like the street scenes? they only have one pic from the side/front and the description doesnt state this.

Just installed my cervini's ducktail.. I used screws and tape..

Alloy, no idea, I only had the estimate drawn for the whole job. 2500.00 for the paint. I did the install.

And I'm being delayed again by having to work this weekend. Won't be installing the rear valance till Monday- if I'm lucky enough to get some free time..

so they charged 2500 for all your parts. ok. well, thats all right that you don't know. care to take a wild guess? i was hoping it would be less than the cost of the parts. they are really small parts too, so hopefully its less than 600.

be sure to get some pictures. nice ride
