Okay, after replacing the ignition control module and starter switch and realy, my car has yet another problem. Just yestrerday, I was driving up the street and all of the sudden, my engine dies. No hesitation or any kind of bumpy idling. Just goes from 3500 to 0 RPM. I tried to start it, no luck. Waited 20 minutes, fuel pump finally started up when ke was in the ON position, started up. Drove it home. Today, started it up. Drove to the Schnucks (our supermarket in the MW). Came back out, car woldnt start, had fuel pump come on and cranked its heart out. Car wouldnt start!!! Finally got it started about 10 minutes later. I let the car idle at the stoplight. Once again it died suddenly. No signs of erradication. Please help my car!!! Thanks. -Adam

what year is it? if it is an 87-90, then it is probably the ignition modual (TFI). When these moduals get hot, they tend to quit working, so leaving it in parking lot to heat soak, or while driving it, they are the most likely to quit.

Everynow and then I'll get a weird problem like that here at the dealership. Most of the time I cna't duplicate the problem since its intermitent.
For weird problems such as that Typically distributor parts....EI the aformentioned TFI module or the pick-up in the distributor. I had some problems with the 88 coupe and I replaced the EEC relay and never had another problem.
EIDT: Missed the part where you say its a 92. Sometimes the crankshaft sensor can cause some weird problems. For example. You migh thear the fuel pump prime for 2 seconds and the turn off when you turn the key on, but if its not seeing a signal that the crankshaft is turning it won't restart the fuel pump. Have somebody crank it over and try to listen for the fuel pump to turn back on after its cranking
