Should be cut and dry, which set did you get?

If they will take them back, go with Steeda....much better product, and they give you detailed instructions with pictures if you need them.

Hey all,

I got adjustable race uppers, and standard non adjustable lowers. I also bought a set of spherical bushings.

Are you all saying that UPR doesnt sell good product? My stuff is still in the box and has not been removed from their packaging.

Was this your first time installing LCA's on a car? This will be my first time. Is it as simple as:

1. Jack up the car
2. Support the axle on jackstands
3. Unbolt the LCA at one end and then lower the other end down until the spring is free?

You can do it. Just take your time and ask questions here if you get to a stopping point. Suspension work is pretty straightforward.

:Word: all you need is the parts, a basic set of hand tools, a jack, 2 jackstands and some tire chalks. if your replacing the upper axle side bushings, MM sells a tool that makes the removal and installation easy as cake... you could make your own tool just by looking at the pictures and using a little skills :) post up if you run into problems.

Not to derail the thread but I was thinkng of getting a set of upr uppers with maximum lowers. Is this a bad idea? Is there anything about UPR arms that you guys suggest they not be used? or is it jus dumb things like no instructions etc? Ive noticed a lot of high horsepower cars using there stuff, im considering gettin the uppers but i dont wanna have a nasty experience ie granatelli. Ive read horror stories over their arms.

I dont think you'll have a problem with them, because like you said, alot of high horsepower drag cars use em... having said that Steeda makes a nice set of uppers that are probly more spendy, but there deffinately a more heavy duty piece.
