Lately my car has became pretty hard to start. Takes a lot of cranking to get it to start.

I have changed the plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil, and fuel filter so far. Still doing the same thing. Also changed the injectors recently. (whole different problem).

I just can't seem to figure out why its so hard to start now. Its been 10-20 degrees so I thought maybe that was it. But it was 55 today and it had the same issue.

Could the O2 sensors cause this? I was going to replace those next...

Longer it sits the worse it is. I am worried about it because up till 2 weeks ago it started very quickly. Battery was getting weak so I changed it also. Cranks faster but still takes awhile.

After I have been driving and restart it starts right up like it used to.

try to turn key on 3 secs turn off then start car.

I agree and it's where I was going with my last question.

Do try the 3 primes before starting idea. Or put a FP gauge on the Schrader valve and watch pressure after one prime and see if it's above 30 PSIG.

I might also check the ECT sensor to make sure it's not way off base. I only have specs for it going down to ~50*F however (we could probably extrapolate a value if needed).

Good luck.
