You forgot one very important part-------Where's the dipstick ?

well we have to drill a hole in the timing chain because the old location doesnt fit in my 1970

and i stripped the block down, cleaned every little corner of every part, painted them and bolted everything back together with a Fel-Pro gasket kit...the parts that i bought were a edelbrock 600 w/ electric choke, oil pan, ford performance intake manifold, and new valve covers

For all the "newbies" reading this, he means drill a dipstick hole in the Timing Cover, not the chain.:D Just did the same job with the 331 stroker I'm putting in the 77 Comet I just bought. The stroker was setup for my 89 Ranger, which uses all the same stuff the Fox body Stangs did.
