i got a 93 thunderbird HO motor for 450$ complete motor top to bottom, whats the differance in the t bird HO motors and my 90 gt HO? I still got my complete stang motor if anything needs to be swapped to make more power or anything, also im putting in a aftermarket cam, whats a good cam to stick in it stock? I heard alot of good thing about the TSF stage cam 1, how much do they run for? also any tips on pullin the motor out in there and swaping them over? thanks alot!!

ah ****, i heard way to many bad things about how weak the 95 HO's were and i heard the heads were ****ty?? Do they have different heads than a 90 GT would? if so, I'll swap my new e7's over to it and I heard the lower intake was smaller? if thats true I'll swap over my lower intake also. How much do the TSF cams run? Were can I get one at? thanks yall!!

The 95HO engines were IDENTICAL to the late 92-93 engines, with a different upper intake. Same heads, same cam, same lower intake, larger throttle body, same 19lb injectors. The only difference in that engine and yours is hypereutectic pistons. I'm not sure where you received your misinformation about how "weak" those engines were, but they were the same, so please allow me to fix any misconception that you have. The reason the 94-95 Mustangs felt weaker has more to do with the different computer and the way it manages the engine differently than the previous EEC models. Read this if you're interested in knowing the differences between the two processors. Now on to the parts that you want to run with this engine...
Putting a cam in an otherwise stock engine is a waste. The TFS 1 cam is a pretty decent off the shelf grind, but would do you no benefit with stock, untouched heads; spend your money elsewhere. Underdrive pulleys, gears, and advanced timing would give you more feel than putting a cam in. Plus, you could avoid the need for a tune when/if your computer disagrees with the cam and you end up with idle or drivability issues. I say if because I'm currently running the same cam in my 95 untuned, and have an occasional bucking while cruising, but no other issues as of yet.

Thats good, its out of a 93 T-bird, is there anything I need to change out from the 90 H.O. motor? also does anyone have tips on pulling out the motor and putting the other one in? and again thanks for the help guys! I cant wait to get this stang on the road!!
