bbk vs c&l cai?

granatelli tricks the computer with recalbrated MAF and jumper harness. the C&L actually uses the diablo to tune the engine for power. get the C&L, especially since you already have a tuner.

first off bbk is generic crap imho the take everthing that somebody else does and makes it cheaper. cheaper stuff fails. i have had to many bbk parts on my other car fail they are now partners with aeromotive fuel systems youll never see one of their parts on my car either.
C&L ftw!!!! do the kit from www.brenspeed.com with the sct2 brent makes some great dyno tested tunes for your car. when mine was n/a his tune picked up 28 rwhp with the cold air kit it also gets rid of that throttle pedal lag too. good luck!!!

plus the C&L just looks better. it can be drilled and tapped for nitrous easilly if wanted and painted or powdercoated easily. this was what mine looked like when it was n/a still

Sonic.....i noticed that you have the midwest auto plenum cover. How do you like it? Is it pretty durable and sturdy? I was at a swap meet last weekend and saw the ford OEM cover and was suprised at how cheap and flimsy it was. How about the paint job? Does it match pretty well.....color, texture, shine, etc?

yes they are in my backyard and not to brag i have a prototype that was brought to a local car show i was at they wanted to test fit it on my car. it was just greay. i had a bodyshop custom paint it to match my car perfectly. it is a very sturdy piece and i highly suggest it to all looking for one
