hey all! I'm getting ready to do a moderate audio upgrade to my 2000 GT when I get home. She has the Mach 460, but the head unit was previously replaced by a former owner, but sound quality is suffering right now. I'm replacing teh head unit when I get back along with the speakers and such. My main question, when replacing the Mach 460 coponents, does the wiring have to come out as well or can that be used?

Also, I have the double deck setup, since I'm using a single deck now, will a head unit fit in the lower position, leaving the top one open for guages. Thanks for any help! :nice:

You could put gauges in either din opening. When I removed all my Mach 460 equip I left the factory wiring in the door zip tied up. I ran new wire through the door boot. So that way when I sell my car I can go back to factory.
