Roush dissapointing new track times

Ok 03s281sc here is the deal When you posted your last dyno numbers you did not talk about power in the rpm range or af ratio. Now for example check this out. when i first had my car tuned before i did it it made 391hp and same torque, you know my mods so. At the track it trapped 109mph do the math i did not have my dynoed hp. So when i tuned it with 11.5 afr and 14deg of spark i only got 375hp and 380 torque but i trapped 114mph and ran 11.9 since i added 3 deg of spark and trapped 116mph. My point is that a dyno can give you a false sence of things. you need to know your af ratios and spark. this weather is the best so if your going to go fast this is the time let me know if i can help

Well I guess it's different in the quater mile. All we have is a 1/8 mile close by. But my question is do you have any rear suspension parts? I have all HPM equip, not saying they're the one to go with or anything. The thing is that I have ran all the SC ones here local to where I am, and that's about 4 of them and I beat them all. My car is N/A. I guess what i'm trying to say is if it's whatever it came with they just don't hoook up well. I dropped a second in the eigth, forgot what my 60ft time is though. Do you have any suspension stuff done in the rear? More power isn't everything.

With 400rwhp and a supercharger its a fine line between lighting it up, bogging it, and getting a good launch. It takes skill to launch a car with that much power. An SC car is going to have to roll into it, where with the NA you don't have to be as careful and you can get into harder, sooner. So maybe that's where the advantage on a short track comes in. I know with my car 1st and 2nd have to be done carefully or they're a joke. So maybe on a 1/8 mile an NA might beat me, but on a 1/4 I'm going to be walking all over it.

Just my .02 there.

You should list the entire timeslip from this time, and last time.
Do you have a CAI? I find it hard to believe with all that sound that the camera picked up, there is no supercharger sound at all.

my 60fts were 1.66, 1.68 and a 1.88, im not worried about the 60s and times, im upset that my mph droped from 114-115 from last year to 112-113 this year with more work done to it (jlt intake, 10lb pulley, 42s, tune, 3.73s)...

If you were to list the entire slips side by side, we could compare 60's, and 1/8's to see if you are going slower in the first half of the track or the second.

It's not as simple as here's my mph from both, sometimes there is more to it.

are you hooking up better? Sometimes alot of spinning on the line would lead to a little higher mph.

In my 01, my fastest pass by .2 was off a few mph b/c the car dead hooked for a change instead of feathering it. Just throwing another idea your way
