Is Dynamat necessary? - 05 Gt.

Could you guys tell me your experiences with rattling panels and what not and what you have for a system. I have an 05 Mustang GT, and I'm about to install a 12" sub and I'm wondering if I need dynamat or not, some cars do some don't, I hear. So please let me know.

Does it help??? Yes. Not only does it deaden sound, but in some cars it can gain a few Db in sound. I personnally have never used it, but instelled it on a fwe cars. I use Peel N Seal roofing paper, which is pretty close.Its a asphalt based sticky tar paper with a foil backing.I've had good results with it and it cost A LOT less

I have 300# of mat-based deadener in my car, and 3 gallons of liquid. I could easily double that and still not be 100% satisfied. I think the offroad Prochamber is a good portion of it
