The fox body/5.0 guys are a great bunch of guys, ask over in that forum and you'll get honest responses from them.

Look for "Daggar"...he's a mod and has a 4 eyed fox. He would be able to help you a ton.

No twisting, buddy! I ordered my '87 GT in Dec '86, before the new cars had even been released. They looked GREAT on paper, but no one had seen them. It was a fun car...

...just not a classic!

well The Fox platform is getting to be old enough now to be called a classic or collector. Kinda crazy...........but i know how would want to refer to anything built in the 80's as a classic besides maybe the Buick GNX.

Interesting topic.

In 1986, I was Junior in High School and drove a 1965 coupe. It was 21 years old, a 'classic' Mustang.

A girl i knew had a new 1986 convertable. Today, that car would be 21 years old.

If it's old enough to drink, does it qualify as "classic"?

I know its a wierd thought but my 86 Fox is like you say 21 years old now. It has to be considered something at that age doesn't it? You guys cars age in 86 would have been the equivilent of driving something built in the 40's when the new (way old now) stang came out.
