In less than a year my brake light in my 3-piece saleen wing faded from a vibrant red to pale, washed out pink. It was so horribly ugly I sprayed it with transparent black spraypaint to just make it match the body, which looks pretty good too.
<rant>
It pisses me off so bad with how much I spent on this wing for it to have so many problems. The edges stick up 1/2" off the decklid, I had to drill screws in from the underside to hold it down flush and they come loose every few months. The 3m body tape doesnt hold to the urethane and the center of the wing 'flaps' against the decklid over bumps, so I had to squirt some RTV sealant in there to hopefully stop it from moving and cushion it if it does. The wing is actually molded crooked and there is a very obvious slant upwards to the drivers side making the tail light, which faded pink, crooked as well. My friend who also bought the same kind of wing a year later has the obvious slant as well, but at least his edges dont stick up.</rant>
And to think..I still want to buy saleen sideskirts/sidescoops.
