nice parts Cody! btw, LCAs are your friend!
and as a side note, beware when you first put those SFCs on. when you fishtail, the car will whip back around straight MUCH quicker and easier than before. i over compensated WAAAAY too much the first time i fishtailed w/ my subs.

I don't know how much those will help with traction on your set up. I imagine it could only be an improvement I'm sure but, I wouldn't expect a dramatic increase. I ran some 315 nitto dr's for a while and I could easily burn through first and most of second while barking 3rd. I couldn't even get them to hook well on the track.

Hey Derek! Been a while man.

Yea I know LCAs would definatly help....but I seriously need to keep my body straight, I can hear more raddles and creaks every day :rlaugh: . Im think the SFCs should make a BIG improvment on how the car hooks....I know just bolton ones helped my 66's traction ALOT.

I really hope these DRs help out on the street....as far as the track goes, I KNOW they will help. My first 2nd time out with them (different combo from first) I was getting 1.89- low 1.9s on junk WED night prep. So I hope thye hook up VERY well at the track now with all this power....im going to run it @ FFW so I definatly need the traction.

Does anyone know at what point I NEED a driveshaft loop? I think the cage is @ 11.49.

Got the DRs for 359.08 shipped and the SFCs for 131.55 shipped. :D www.americanmuscle.com Best deal I could find with their discount and free shipping. MM wanted $30 to ship the darn things.

How you liken em Ponyboy?

Nice! You shoulda gone with some Mickeys, Hoosiers, Goodyears, or BFG's for a track tire though :D If you're gonna be running these tires exclusively all the time, then yeah, great choice! Personally, I'm running my mickeys all the time now (that is, when there is a rear end in the car WHOOPS! ;)).

If you have rear coilovers, or are going to run them, then I have the LCA's for you mang! MM XD control arms without spring perches still for sale, I'll give you a deal and w/not, just PM me if interested.

I agree totally, I have these on my car now fort street tires and as Benny said you shoulda got MT's for traction. They will help some for everyday driving, but at 20k miles max they arent worth it.

your power level is just to much for them.

little update...

Tires did the trick!!!!! @ 8PSI I can hook very well in 2nd gear and fully in 3rd. @ 9PSI 3rd will SLIGHTLY walk a bit sometimes...but the car is still just PULLING. (I rarely use 9PSI....I just leave it @ 8)
Even off a light I can now push quite abit and actually be going somewhere in a hurry, even if it does spin some.

So far A+++++++++++ for the nittos :D

Last time I ran my 275/50/15 nitto DRs, I was getting 1.89-low1.9 60's with crappy WED night prep....I get 1.99-2.0s on street tires....and a best of a 1.90 on my old 285 kumhos with INSANE track prep. Nittos definatly bite SOOO much better.

And thanks for the offer Benny...I wish I had coilovers out back, but its all stock and I dont see myself switching anytime soon :( . And yep, these are my new DD tires...I drive about 100 miles a day 3-4 days a week. But since I wont be spinning them, myabe they will last a while :D
