I bought a 7up car recently with a 5speed and all stock, well its really slow, well compared to my 86 h/c/i car its really slow LOL, so Im thinkin of like a 100hp shot of no2 for a boost, I know it will take it fine, just wanderin what it would do in the 1/4 with the nos, I run people around here frequently and dont like to loose if ya know what I mean, like cauley pullin from me in his stock aod gt LOL, so what kind of boost would it do?

thanks Josh

Im not messing it up, just making it go a little faster, its in good shape with 74k on er, But its my daily ride so I CANT have a h/c/i combo on it for reliability sake. I know all about the history of the car as well, most people just reply and say dont touch it it should be in a museum!!! but I buy cars to drive them, oh and its registered in the mca and I have a stainless steel plaque coming for it I will mount by the shifter, should be TITE!!

i'd leave it alone... put the bottle on the hotrod.. maybe a set of 3.55s in the 7up just for fun.. nice shifter, clutch quadrant and cable.. upgrade from stock but don't go extreme. As for me.. i don't care if its a rare car.. but since its a DD.. no reason to modify it to a big extent. Hell throw me a 93 cobra and i'll drop a windsor in it, a 85 predator and that f'er is getting a 460.. who cares.. its just cars

I hear ya, ive had a couple rare cars one of em blew up on me (svo) but its all in good fun, Im definately doin gears, ill get some saturday at the pick n pull (373 or 410's) and then put my short throw and some subs in it and it should be a little more fun, ive already done the free mods, tps sensor, timing, air silencer removal, k&n, pioneer head unit and speakers, tuneup coming this weekend, and Im puttin my truck intake on it soon, just need a tb and a intake tube, should wake er up some, and the 86 is gettin some drag radials soon before I have to sell it, im gonna cry like a little girl:nonono: when it sells, hell 8 months straight of work and I have to sell it now. :bang:

Its a special edition LX convertible ford made to promote for 7UP, they came in only agreen color with white top and either white or chrome ponies, can't remember which, but then 7up decided not to promote using themso they were sold to the public.

Basially just a differencein looks. I'msure you have seen one, just didn'tknow whats it is

Edit: they wereemerald green with white top and white int. I thought they had white or chrome ponies, but from thepics I found they had stock wheels.

Those were all drop tops, had the turbine wheels and the Emerald Green color. I didn't know 7-up had anything to do with em, though. But with that color, it must be! They weren't special for anything else, so spray away! Rare is like a 93 Cobra R, not some goofy color on a car they made 4,000 of.
