My wife rocks!
She loves my car almost as much as me. Sometimes I wonder if she likes it more. LOL. When I was considering selling it (to buy a '93 SVT Cobra), she was quite upset.
On one hand, she doesn't know shyt about cars. But, on the other hand, she knows nearly every angle to mine. Perfect!
Ha, that's how my old one was. She'd sit at car shows and if I was away for some reason she'd rattle off whatever was done to the car to whomever asked
My wife is NOT into cars whatsoever. She just pretends to pay attention to what I'm saying and sometimes just flat out tells me she doesn't care.

Just for the record, I am nothing like a guy if you didn't know me and I am sure Frankie is the same way! Only my guy friends know how easily I am NOT offended. I was an only child and my Dad wanted a boy. Not my fault. I hunt and kill animals too!

When your spouse isnt nearly into the Mustang hobby as you are?
Example: Last night I was going through back issues of mustang mags... and I just happened to run across someones car from Stangnet, I get all exicted, and show the wife and tell her "hey, thats a guy i talk to on that mustang forum."
She rolls her eyes, looks at me like "and then...???" and continues watching Greys Anatomy.
Talk about frustrating..
Anywho, It was February 2005 issue (5.0's i think) , and i ran across MansonOzz's vert.. I was all excited and proud to talk to a guy on here thats been featured in so many mustang mags.... leave it to the wife to be a buzzkill
Moral of the story... any of you guys that have spouses / girlfriends / significant others that are into the Mustang hobby, DONT TAKE THEM FOR GRANTED!!!!

Seriously forget the email i just ****in sent u...i seriously cant believe u pop the biggest ****in boner over a mustang. It makes me so sick to see ur reaction to a ride. Ur face brightens up like a f***** light..if only i was a fu**in car. n the past 4 days u couldnt take any tym to talk to me ..or hang out but god forbid u see somthin such as a car ull take tym for that. I cant believe u went into the bar just to talk to dumbass randy just cuz his mustang was there...

I figured i wasnt the only one, but venting, and hearing other people dealing with it helps..
I know she knows my car is my passion, and i think shes tired of me working my ass off on it, and its not running yet. She can see how frustrated i get when i get set back for whatever reason. Plus, she thinks that when its done, she gets to park in the garage... ill deal with that argument when the car is running

anyways Ive only met one or two girls that have liked riding in my car, all the other times, including the current girl ive been hanging out with, they complain about everything shaking inside the car when we sit at traffic lights.
My wife is pretty cool about it. I thought about selling my fox, and she was the one to talk me out of it. Personally, I never trusted a girl into cars... to materialistic. When we started dating, my wife could care less that I had the 03 Cobra. Thats part of why I liked her.
Now that I have a garage to work in, she's pretty happy that I can take time away from her. I just have to keep my hobby balanced with my marriage. Only thing she really doesn't like is the fact I spend so much on the ride.

Word! I have a brother and I played with his Matchbox car instead of my Barbies.
He played with my Barbies tho.
A girl can STILL be quite feminine even if she's into cars, hunting, hell, even other chicks. >:-D)
