Motoblue Exhaust...

Sorry to dig up such an old thread....just wondering how the Motoblue's are holding up for you guys. I'm considering the RS after seeing the price, watching the two clips on youtube and drooling over the Stingers for awhile now. Thanks for any input.

I ordered the RS's on Sunday. Received my box today. Pypes Violators. I don't mind, but it's kind of funny. I would have been really surprised, had I not already read this thread. So for $150 I got $200 mufflers and a Pypes Tshirt.

So I got the pypes violators on today. They look great. No drone, sound is deep and throaty. But it leaves me wanting more. I guess that comes from having a car with basically no exhaust (o/r pipe and straight-thru muffs). But I'm sure after a few hundred miles they'll get broken in, and an intake and tune should mildly help. Overall, I'm very please for $150.

I tried to contact RPM Outlet and Flo Pro with a few questions about the RS. RPM sent me the automated "it's gonna be a few days until we get to you" e-mail and it's been over a week with no reply since then. I explained to Flo Pro that I was interested in the RS's and had heard that Motoblue used Flo Pro mufflers. I wanted to know if he could verify this and tell me what type of muffler it was. My plan was to get a local shop to just fab a system for me rather than go through RPM. I also asked if they sold their own axle-back kits. The only reply I got from them was that Motoblue does indeed use Flo Pro mufflers but didn't say which ones. Then asked for an explanation of what a "Mustang RS" was. Sent another e-mail explaining that "RS" is the muffler name and restating the other info that I wanted. No reply since then, also over a week. Needless to say, I'm going to pass on the RS system and was planning on looking for Pypes Violators.

In my searching, I actually stumbled across a really nice deal on a set of Hooker Aerochambers with just a few hundred miles on them. Not many people seem to have them but the ones that do really rave about them. They're supposed to be fairly loud and sound similar to, if not a little deeper, Violators with very little drone. Now if I could just get my car to put them on!

I have an off-road H pipe with mine (along with shorties but that shouldn't count for much) and my neighborhood back home basically hates me and my girlfriend's neighborhood here in Baton Rouge basically hates me too. One of my g/f's friends mom made a comment about how loud my car was and this guy who was around (who owns a black GT like mine with exhaust too :D ) just goes "um yeah...he's not trying to be loud right now."

Under acceleration the Pypes are awesome. Throaty, deep, and LOUD. Cruising they are super quiet and I can't be happier with 'em!
