I just ordered the autometer ATM-4380 D Pic gauge. Suposingly this gauge tells you your 0-60 times, quarter mile times and rear wheel horsepower. Pretty cool. Does anyone here have it? How does it work? Was installation hard? I believe its a switched volts and ground. I'm going to mount it in the autometer steering wheel pod. Should look sick!

well thats not what i wanted to hear! ill let you know how it goes, :D

No no I'm not trying to scare you off :p It's a super cool thing. But it can't be super accurate either just so you know. It bases all it's calculations on g forces a little tiny chip detects. In theory this can work perfectly, but in practice it's not as simple, and to have truly accurate measurements it has to be a very sophisticated inertia chip that would be extremely expensive (and no market for) so it makes it's compromises with the price.

I have one for a year, it's cool and fun to watch... (and more sexy than those useless A/F ratio gauges...)
I did not compare the readings with my actual numbers though...
But I recorded 1.07G peak acceleration :)
My Pioneer DVD/Navigation stereo also has G-meter built-in so I get double readings now...
