I hear ya. I get the same thing. I don't know what it is but you gotta love it. Do you have mods? I always thought it was the Mustang's that looked different. I have a saleen kit with a steeda q400 hood. Or possibly it could be the blower whine? In any event don't sweat the fame :D

I had parked at the fireworks festival last year, and couldn't help but lmao when a couple of 8yr olds starting arguing "No that's MY car!" :)

Always get complimented at the Timi's drive through too. But hey... the car may be nice, but the driver is pretty good too lol... they never notice that part. :(

I have this happen with all my Mustangs, but man I can't go anywhere or do anything in my 68 Coupe without everyone asking about it. Not joking, EVERYTIME I go somewhere in that car, people ask me about. I kinda like it except for when people come up and say "Let me guess, 1966!":nonono:

I don't get anything like that. Probably because I'm not constantly looking around to see who's looking at my Mach, and I could'nt care less in the first place. Plus, people are always telling me I look pissed off, but that's my normal looking expression when everything is going fine. :D

Thats cause a Mach to the general public is just a regular mustang...nothing too fancy. I bet the saleen/roush guys get looks all day, and a low key color cobra like a black terminator, probably goes virtually un-noticed.

I never really catch anyone looking; occassionally I'll get some attention over my exhaust but thats about it. But, the body is basically stock.

Haha, yeah my buddy gets the same reactions in his 68' and people always try to guess the year and get it wrong as well. Everytime I drive with him people will stop dead in their tracks and turn around, cars will slow down and pace side by side while they look at it, people will come up to the car and ask a million questions when its parked. Its his DD too, its funny when people see a 68' Mustang driving thru the snow in a Chicago winter with snow tires out back hauling ass, hahahaha:

I get small kids telling me to spin the tires. Last night I had a kid wanting me to rev my car while they stood behind it to hear my exhaust. After I rev he says man I love how mustangs sound. I remember going thru the drive thru at Wendy’s, as I pulled up to the window three people poked there head out and were saying wow check that car out. Harley guys give me a nod; people in pickups give me the thumbs up. So you definitely get noticed no mater where you go with a stang.

^lol, yea alot of ppl usually ask me if its a 5.0, and when i tell them its a 4.6 they seem real dissapointed lol

Im with you. Sometimes there are local gatherings with the "elders" and once a night i get someone with their arms crossed saying 'That a 5-oh". I say no, its a 4.6. Thats when im asked "oh, so is it slower than a 5-oh" I say "no it isnt, and they havent put a 5-oh in a Mustang since 1995".

tontos.

i understand what you are talking abouit 100%..but I think the only way you are a superstar in your mustang is with a saleen bodykit, rousch bodykit, or a cobra dropped with some chrome wheels..regular mustangs look..well..REGULAR..when I put the top down on my gt with custom paint job and light bar, chrome rims, music video playing on my dvd screen..everyone is like wowwowowow..I get as much looks as a bmw 6-series on wheels or even porsche/benz's..I dont know why but I love it:)

Yeah i my town mustangs are EVERYWHERE, so i want to get something to set mine more apart, I still get lots of looks and compliments, but then i don't want to get everyones atention becasue with my car as it is right now, too many cops notice me. i have even seen them stare at me when they were out of the car and my light turned green.:D
