Release Date for New Mustang?

i may have missed the thread somewhere on the forums, i did look around but failed to find anything. so if anyone would like to put my mind at ease at my debate of buying a 2007 or waiting for the 2008 please do so..

please let me know the earliest date that i could get a 2008 mustang if i ordered one tomorrow lol!!

if its only a couple a months then i should have the disicpline to wait....

Not really sure. Last year, the '07s started showing up on dealer lots in early July.

Last year I ordered my GT in April and received it on 7-7-07.

The order banks are already open on the 2008 Mustang.

I believe the last day you can place an order for a 2007 Stang is May 16.

2007 Production ends June 23
2008 Production starts June 25

If you ordered a 2008 tomorrow, you should get it late July - early August.

Very few changes for 2008. 2 new options, HID headlamps and Interior Ambient Lighting. New colors Vapor & Candy Apple Red.

great thanks for the info..... the dealership is still trying to hunt down an '07 for me but they haven't gotten a perfect match yet or atleast close enough to one..

so if they fail to do so...with this new info lol im guna get the '08 with all the exact option i need and want of course lol

Bullitt is supposed to arrive in December 07.

There is supposed to be either a Boss or Mach for Model year 2009.

And that's all there is until the next generation Mustang comes in Model Year 2010.

thanks 351, reason I was wondering is because I figured I might as well order one while I'm here in Iraq and don't have to pay taxes on a new car
