I have a new 302 long block with a Bcam, thumper heads. Im trying to decide on an intake. What would be a better choice for building torque on a street car a GT40 or a cobra?

Or does anyone see where i can improve on anything? Keep in mind its a low budget build.

gt40 and cobra are the same intake. gt40s just have tubular runners. for a street app. with your current mods, (and for what you said you're going for) id go with a gt40/cobra, they will provide more bottom end torque. trickflows have larger runners than gt40's/cobras which produce more hp higher in the rpm's where as the smaller runners of the gt40/cobra intake produce more bottom end torque. if you plan on going bigger later, the trickflow would be a better choice because it would be able to better support any future, bigger mods but again, with current heads and cam you'll lose some bottom end. then again, the trickflow street heat is a really good intake. It's really all up to what you plan on doing with your car. hope i helped.
