O2 Sensor?

I have a 2003 mustang gt, and today I was driving around for a while when I noticed my check engine light had came on. I didn't think too much about it at the time until later on it started sounding different. It sounded a whole lot louder and it sounded like a drag car or something. Also I began to smell a lot more exhaust. I was wondering what could cause this? And if it was maybe an o2 senser or something, but the aweful sound sounds like it is coming from the exhaust. My car has Pypes off road x-pipes, K&N Extreme air filter, 40 series flowmasters, Bomz racing cold-air intake. Please HELP!

look under your car, is there still a xpipe and mufflers?

yeah, they are still there and there are no holes in anything, and they are all attached.

What were you doing when you noticed it sounding louder then normal? How was your engine idling? Did it sound like it had a real rough idle?

is your 02 sensor backing out causing you to throw a code and an exhaust leak?
