Bypass jet for intake manifold on NOS sys?

i just bought a used NOS 150HP dry kit:D ( http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=NOS-05115-IINOS&N=700 ) and installed it this weekend but noticed i didn't have a intake bypass jet or vacuum tee so i just bought a tee and hose and set it up with out. I dont know what purpose that bypass jet serves  and dont want to run the nitrous with out it. any explanations on this since im a noob to nitrous will be great thanx

I don't know exactly how the bypass works, but don't spray your car without it. The tee should be jetted. I'm running a 100 shot and it's jetted at .59 For a 150 shot i believe it should be at .67 But just to make sure i would call nos tech line and ask them.

calling the tech line would be the best thing to do since i guess im going to have to order up that tee and bypass jet. id rather spend a couple $$ now than having to build a whole new motor later on for some stupid little bypass jet thanx AOD92

It sounds like the same kit i have, DO NOT USE THE KIT WITHOUT THE T AND JET, sorry for the caps, but the kit will not work properly without the t. If i remeber correctly it raises the fuel pressure in the rail to match the nos jets you are using. So another way to say it would be, Your gonna blow up your engine without it!!:flag:
